We ❤ to give the gift of cruelty-free fashion as much as we love to wear it!
With a growing awareness of the increase of pollution, deforestation, global warming, resource depletion, and animal cruelty the holidays offer one of the greatest opportunities to lead by example by giving cruelty-free fashion that is stylish, thought-provoking, and inspiring to everyone on your holiday list!
Shoes and apparel are typical holiday hit-list items. From the conservative wool sweater to all-the-rage leather boots to a new down winter jacket – these so-called “gifts” all have one thing in common: they each support industries that commoditize animals that are cruel, bloody, and infested with violence in ways that could warrant animal-cruelty charges if the victims were dogs or cats. The reality is, many animals literally paid with their lives for those few gifts of luxury.
Thankfully, there are stylish, cruelty-free alternatives! You can still give all-the-rage-boots (like Pammies), you just have to be persistent at reading labels to find alternative products that imitate animal-based fabrics, derived from plant sources, and when possible, upcycled and organic.
